The Edgewater Art Walk is this weekend
Come check out artwork from local artists during the Edgewater Art Walk 2019!
Over 50 artists will have their works on display across six locations along or near Sheridan Road between Foster Avenue and Bryn Mawr in Edgewater. Free pedicabs will be available to shuttle between the different locations.
The six participating locations include The Admiral at the Lake (929 W Foster), The Breakers at Edgewater Beach (5333 N Sheridan), Park Tower (5415 N Sheridan), Edgewater Plaza (5455 N Sheridan), Edgewater Beach Apartments (5555 N Sheridan), and Edgewater Presbyterian Church (1020 W Bryn Mawr).
Paintings, photographs, jewelry, glass, sculptures, and more will be on display. A portion of all sales will benefit Care for Real, an Edgewater food pantry and social service agency.
If you live outside of Edgewater, you can conveniently take the Red Line to either the Bryn Mawr or Berwyn stops and walk east towards the lake. The 147 and 151 buses are also an option.
The event is free and open to the public. It runs from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 18.
