Taste of Chicago 2019 concert lineup announced
The full concert lineup for this summer’s Taste of Chicago has been announced by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
This year’s festival features a mix of both national and international musicians. The featured artists are India.Arie, Cultura Profética, Bomba Estéreo, De La Soul, The Strumbellas, lovelytheband, and Courtney Barnett. Concerts begin at 5:30 PM on July 10 through 12 and 4:30 PM on July 13 and 14.
General admission concert tickets start at $15 for early birds. Premium seating tickets cost $40. Prices will increase $5 on June 1 and another $5 on July 1. Tickets can be purchased early online.
“Taste of Chicago is a summer staple and this year’s music lineup will be more vibrant and diverse than ever,” said Mayor Rahm Emanuel. “With our combination of local, national and international talent, Chicago’s incredible culinary and musical culture will be on full display in Grant Park, and promises to be our most successful season yet.”
The Taste of Chicago – which will be in its 39th year in 2019 – will take place in Grant Park from Wednesday, July 10 until Sunday, July 14. Entry to the festival is free and open to the public. For more information on the Taste of Chicago, visit the city’s event page.
