Marvel drops first image and premiere date for Disney+ exclusive ‘Hawkeye’

Hawkeye

Disney+ has released the first official image and set the premiere date for Hawkeye, a new Marvel series that will attempt to replicate the success of Wandavision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki.

Hawkeye will be the star of a Marvel Studios series destined for Disney+. Marvel’s cinematic universe continues to expand with new films and stories. Following the success of their most recent releases, the Disney+ Twitter account has shared an image, as well as the release date of Marvel’s next production. It’s coming on November 24.

The filming of Hawkeye began last year in New York, at the same time as Hailee Steinfield was confirmed as Kate Bishop, a character who would play the Marvel character’s pupil, Jeremy Renner, who, as is customary in the MCU, will continue to be the image in the series.

“[Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she’s a big Hawkeye fan,” Jeremy Renner told Entertainment Weekly. “She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.”

We’ll have to wait until November 24th to see whether Marvel manages to surprise us yet again. So, we have little doubt that Marvel will release more images from the production as the series premiere date on Disney+ approaches.
