Jeopardy has just announced a slew of new guest hosts including LeVar Burton, Robin Roberts, and George Stephanopoulos.
The popular television game show is currently rotating guest hosts after the passing of long-time host Alex Trebek, who sadly succumbed to pancreatic cancer last November at the age of 80.
The current guest host is Anderson Cooper. CNN’s reporter and anchor hosts the show from April 19 until April 30, 2021. Following Cooper is a long list of television personalities ranging from NBC’s Savannah Guthrie to ABC news anchors George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts.
LeVar Burton – best known as the former host of Reading Rainbow and Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: The Next Generation – hosts the game show in July. Nearly a quarter-million fans signed an online petition for him to become the next host.
THANK YOU… to all y’all for your passionate support! I am overjoyed, excited, and eager to be guest-hosting Jeopardy!, and will do my utmost best to live up to your faith you in me. YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE! Go ahead and take my word for it, this time. https://t.co/C7mZWMok2X— LeVar Burton (@levarburton) April 21, 2021
