Chicago is a city that really comes to life during the summer. A big part of the summer fun comes in the form of free concerts and festivals that are open to the public.

Chicago’s annual free concerts at Pritzker Pavilion – including both the Grant Park Music Festival and Millennium Park Summer Music Series – kick off on June 12. But there are free concerts before the official kickoff, including the annual Chicago Blues Festival June 7 to 9.

The free concert series – which takes place at Millennium Park’s Pritzker Pavilion – is in its 85th year. Here is a list of every free concert at Pritzker Pavilion between May and September.
