Elizabeth Olsen confirms WandaVision won’t have a second season

WandaVision

It looks like fans will not get their wish for a second season of WandaVision.

WandaVision was a huge success in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series not only initiated Marvel Studios’ ambition to explore MCU characters in the format of a Disney+ series, but it also offered up a slew of possibilities for future events in the film franchise.

Following Wanda Maximoff’s catastrophe and what was seen at the close of the series, it is plausible to believe that the tale has come to an end, despite the fact that some fans were eager to demand a second season following the first’s excellent reaction. However, according to Elizabeth Olsen, season two of WandaVision is not in the company’s plans.

Stars Kaley Cuoco and Elizabeth Olsen took turns gushing to each other about their newest projects while electronically interviewing each other for Variety’s Actors on Actors series.

When Olsen inquired about the start date of production for her show’s second season, Cuoco returned the favor by attempting to get Olsen to confirm the existence of the second season of WandaVision.

Elizabeth Olsen confirmed that “No. No. It’s definitely a limited series.” After this, she added: “with Marvel, you can never say no.”

Olsen’s Scarlet Witch adventure will continue in next year’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Where her character will go in the Marvel Universe after that is unknown. But, according to Olsen, it’s unlikely to return to Westview.
