Cook County opens more first-dose vaccine appointments on Friday

Cook County has a new batch of COVID-19 vaccine appointments that they will make available on Friday, April 9.

The Cook County Public Health Department will release first dose appointments at noon on Friday, April 9th, 2021 for the following vaccination sites:

  • Forest Park Community Vaccination Center (Pfizer)
  • South Suburban College (Pfizer)
  • Triton College (Pfizer)
  • Tinley Park (J&J Janssen)
  • Tinley Park (Moderna)

All vaccinations are by appointment only. Anyone who is 16 or 17 years old can only receive the Pfizer vaccine and must be physically accompanied by a parent or guardian.

How to book an appointment

To find an appointment in suburban Cook County, visit vaccine.cookcountyil.gov. If you live in Chicago, you can also visit the city’s vaccine website to schedule an appointment.
